Meet The Team
Jenna Dixon
Hi! My name is Jenna Dixon. I have been given this wonderful opportunity of becoming Explosion Cheer Academy’s new cheerleading coach. I have worked for Explosion Gymnastics for four years. I have received my level 1 training from NCCP. Over those years, I have had the joy of teaching children from Parent n Tot all the way to coaching my own competitive cheer team. I am very excited to start this new journey of coaching cheerleading. In my younger years, I had the privilege of doing Dance, Gymnastics, and Cheerleading. It was some of the greatest memories I’ve had growing up. I can’t wait to share some of those memories with you!
Videlle Laliberte
I'm Coach Videlle and I've been involved in the cheerleading community since 2019. I've coached children from 18 months and up. I'm credentialed in level 1, and currently working on moving up. I was an athlete on level 2 and 3 cheer teams. I have been a base, back spot, and a flyer, I love how anyone can join cheer and there's a place for Everyone! I absolutely love working with children, creating meaningful connections, and watching them grow as athletes.
Kennedy Demas
Mrs Kennedy began her gymnastics training at a young age and brings to the table over 10 years of experience as a competitive athlete. After retiring as a competitive gymnast, Mrs Kennedy switched her focus to coaching. Mrs Kennedy is a certified NCCP L2 Women’s Artistic, L3 trained and L2 Trampoline Coach and has had the honor of mentoring under National- level artistic gymnastics coaches in Romania and California. She is proud to be a certified Alixa Flexibility Instructor and “Respect In Sport” Coach, as has completed her Sport Acro Coach Certification. Mrs Kennedy is also very excited to be one of our Gymnastrada team coaches for Team Canada. With nine years of competitive coaching under her belt already, Mrs Kennedy is excited to further her training with the NCCP with aspirations of becoming a career coach!
Rachel Kay
I studied at the University of Alberta for 4 years and obtained a degree in Kinesiology, where I majored in sport performance. I have been
in the training and sport performance industry for 3 years. My business primarily focuses on teaching people how to properly fuel their bodies and train with intent to help them obtain their goals! I was involved in the gymnastics world for 12+ years, and am so happy to be back and able to combine my education and passion for the sport of gymnastics to make an impact on these athletes experience as a gymnast!
Siiri Miller
Siiri Miller is a certified NCCP Level 2 Men's and Woman's Artistic Gymnastics coach with 20 years of coaching experience at both recreational through to competitive level. Siiri was the Zone 7 Mens's provincial team coach at the 2002 Saskatchewan winter games.
Alongside coaching Siiri teaches dance, music, and worked in a pre-school for two and half years in Munich Germany!
Siiri has traveled extensively across the globe, both in connection with coaching and personally.
